  1. “transformed in parasolled light” that line stops me in my tracks. Makes me consider more of the physical element to the image. The oceanside imagery throughout the poem adds nice depth in few lines. Cheers, Gay 🙂

  2. Very nice Gay and love your new look for the year…it feels good to change things up, and begin again….looking forward to a Great Year…bkm

  3. As wispy as the blowing costume, ethereal, with just a touch of Blanche DuBois. I like it. I’ve looked at this photo quite a few times by now, and I’m really starting to wonder about the guy behind her in the overalls and ball cap…a very odd look for New York, surely? A redneck Stanley Kowalski, perhaps? But I digress. ;_) A beautiful short piece Gay, not too little and not too much.

  4. You caught something about the photo that I haven’t seen elsewhere – the active role of the wind. Unseen, the wind actually makes the photo. Good one, Gay.
